This programme will give learners sound background knowledge on the nature of civil engineering environment and its impact on personal and social. The main aim of this programme is to develop graduates with broad range of qualities and skills essential to be a competent civil engineer, the qualification equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate based on the international model. The programme introduces the essential concepts involved such as planning, design, and construction of environment and infrastructure. A student will explore civil engineering concepts, construction practice, technology, and design and site implementation. Moreover, learners will have a greater understanding of civil and structural works as well as learning practical skills and developing an ability to solve technical problems. Upon successful completion of Diploma, Graduates will be able to upgrade in their current employment as assistant site engineer, civil & structural engineer and site supervisor and able to perform duties more effectively by applying the theoretical knowledge and techniques.Updated on 21 May, 2023
Eligibility / Requirements
Minimum 3 ‘O’ level or equivalent qualification including English -C6 and any 2 science subjects – C6 (or)
International secondary level qualification with English, Mathematics and Science (or)
Candidate with Certificate in Engineering Foundation from Capital College of Management And Technology (or)
The matured student with more than 3 years relevant working experience will be considered (or)
Other qualification with experience will be considered a case to case basis.
