Course details
This subject covers the fundamental concepts of quality and quality improvement. It provides a broad overview of quality improvement as well as the application of statistical process control in the chemical industry. The importance of customer focus, employee involvement and continuous improvement will be emphasized.
Objectives
This subject aims to equip students with the basic knowledge and skills to:
- describe the concept of quality and the general practices of quality improvement
- apply the methodologies/techniques for quality improvement. explain the ISO quality management system.
