The Stirling Retail Executive Series is intended for retail executives who desire to enhance their professionalism in specific aspects of retail management. The Series offers five selected retail management subjects from the University of Stirling MBA in Retailing by distance learning programme; each subject can be taken as a standalone module.

The subjects are:

  • International Retailing
  • Manging the Strategic Environment 
  • Managing the Supply Chain
  • Retail Management Context
  • Retail Marketing 

Each module will help the retail executive to reflect on and appraise relevant theories and concepts relevant to the specific aspect of retail management, and guide the participant to apply these in real work situations.

For first time participants of the Series, they will be given an "Introduction" that covers how the Stirling Retail Executive Series work, planning for the study period, study methods (including lecture, tutorial, using case notes and text books, writing assignments and answering examination questions) and learning support.
