Course details
Designed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), NVKET is Singapore’s first accelerated early childhood course with a focus on kindergarten teaching. Aimed at diploma and degree holders, this highly practical course equips those who wish to embark on a career in kindergarten education with curriculum-based language and specific teaching pedagogy.
With the course, you will:
- Understand the principles and practices of early childhood development and education, including safety, health, hygiene and nutrition
- Learn the basics of early learning environments and classroom management
- Partner with families and communities in early childhood education
- Benefit from seminars and workshops led by experienced early childhood practitioners
- Have the option of working at a kindergarten while completing the course
