Course details
This is a comprehensive training program for the Certificate in Traditional Chinese Medicine Assistant Course. It is specially designed for the general public to provide them with an overview of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The objectives are:
- To train clinical assistants to have a better understanding of TCM
- To master the skills and techniques of massage for pain relief
- To learn about TCM Nutrition and Dietetics for self-awareness and knowledge in TCM to initiate a healthier lifestyle
- To assist in managing the TCM clinics effectively for better service to the general public .Upon completion of the course, candidates would be able to contribute to the TCM industry as clinical assistants, as assistants to the registered practitioners, assistant in nursing homes, etc. Their knowledge in TCM for personal healthcare and wellness would also be enhanced.
Entry Requirement: Secondary School Level or Equivalent

About Singapore College Of Traditional Chinese Medicine
The Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1953 as the Chinese Physician Training College (renamed in 1976) by the Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association. Since then, the college has grown to be a well-established Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) institution in the region. These graduates are currently practicing TCM in various parts of Singapore, providing TCM treatment and healthcare to the public, contributing significantly to TCM development in the country.
