Course details

Risk is apparent in almost every project we undertake. As far as our project is concerned, we want to know as much as we can about these threats and opportunities that may appear during the project. Knowing these elements will help project managers to minimize negative impacts and also at the same time take full advantage of positive ones and increase the potential for a successful outcome.

We'll examine identifying risks, performing risk assessments, documenting risks in a risk register, creating plans to minimize their impacts, tracking the risks and responses, and more.

This 1 day instructor led course empowers participants with the knowledge and skills on how to identify the type of threats or opportunities that may surface in a project before they happen. Participants will learn the techniques of accessing and tracking risk and perform risk assessment. Participants will also learn how to create and maintain the risk register. Finally, participants will learn the steps in responding to risk events and closing it.
