The purpose of this course is to give participants the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to effectively use the technology of laser scanning in industrial and construction applications. Contents: • Basics of laser surveying • Different laser scanning systems, their strengths and weaknesses. • Data processing techniques • Laser scanning projects: planning, execution and economy. • Quality assurance procedures. • Laser scanning applications. The target audience are:
- Land surveyors who want to learn about new surveying techniques, or deepen their knowledge - for all three courses.
- Engineers in construction, oil & gas industry and other sectors - for all three courses
- For the course 3 (Reality Capture), the target audience can also include architects.
- Course 2 (geospatial data management) could also be interesting for managers and project managers in constructuion and property development sectors
