Course details

This course is designed to expose CROs to a number of situations, using an interactive computerised simulator. CROs can exercise their role and interact with the screens to resolve problems.

Structure

To provide a serious of scenarios in controlling production emergencies and critical situations for established Control Room Operators in order to continuously meet the competence standards set by OPITO approved Training Standards.

Prerequisites

Delegates must have panel operator experience.

Target Audience

Aimed at CROs. On successful completion of the course, delegates are issued with OPITO approved certification as evidence towards and NVQ/SVQ unit, when audited by an internalverifier.

The syllabus focuses on:

•  Assessment requirements and elements.
•  Assessor/candidate review and appraisal of readiness for formal assessment.
•  Formal assessment.
•  Simulator familiarisation and procedure confirmation.
•  Training and delegate feedback.

OPITO approved certification.
