Eligibility / Requirements
To be eligible to sit for the PMP exam, a candidate must first meet the following specific education and professional requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Four-year Degree or global equivalent)
- 3 years’ experience leading projects (within the last eight consecutive years)
- 35 contact hours of formal training in project management or CAPM® certification
- Leaving Certificate (High School Diploma, Associates Degree or global equivalent)
- 5 years’ experience leading projects (within the last eight consecutive years)
- 35 contact hours of formal training in project management or CAPM® certification
