You will learn fromJoseph Pilates' ownwritings inReturn to Life Through Contrology. Then you willbe guidedthrough a workout that focuses on core andbreath.
After that, we will explore theconnection between the mind and the body through the work of another teacher,Timothy Gallwey,authorofThe Inner Game of Tennis. We willdelve intoquieting mind, receiving instructionsand applying conscious control.
Finally, youwill engagethese ideasin a second workout. Youwillreactivate the entirebody and enliven yourspine. Thisroutinewill leave you feelingintegrated.
This course adherestothe classical approachofPilates withadditional warm-up and preparatory exercises suitable for practitioners ofall levels. The two"Exercise Collections"areapproximately 20 minutes each.
