• Introduction to Fire Safety - Introduction, topics to be covered, why fire safety is important, the fire triangle, the fire triangle - potentially dangerous fuel sources, potentially dangerous oxygen sources, the types of fires, class A fires, class B fires, class C fires, class D fires, electrical fires, class F fires, responsible persons, areas with a first "responsible person", first responsible person duties, warden duties, employee duties.
• Fire Safety Law - Fire safety law, topics to be covered, risk assessments, fire safety enforcement.
• Measures of Fire Safety - Topics to be covered, fire safety arrangements - housekeeping, fire detection, and warning systems, specific issues, fire extinguishers, water, powder, foam extinguishers, carbon dioxide, wet chemical, fire extinguishers - a summary, specific rules, and safety rules and safety measures, fire escape routes, fire doors & emergency ventilators, fire safety signs, emergency lighting.
• Evacuation Procedures - Topics to be covered, evacuation strategies, personal emergency evacuation plans, fire drills, fire evacuation.

Assessment

At the end of the Accredited Fire Safety Diploma course, there will be an online assessment, which you will need to pass to complete the course. Answers are marked automatically, allowing you to know straight away whether you have passed. If you haven't, there's no limit on the number of times you can take the final exam.
