Course details

• To provide students with a strong foundation in American Sign Language (ASL) within an accelerated timeframe.

• Master the ASL Alphabet:
• Accurately fingerspell the entire English alphabet.
• Recognize fingerspelled words and phrases.

• Learn and use common vocabulary related to:
• Personal information (name, age, occupation, family)
• Everyday objects (food, colors, numbers 1-100)
• Basic greetings and introductions
• Simple questions and answers

• Understand and use basic sentence structure in ASL.
• Learn and apply basic grammatical concepts (, subject-verb agreement, negation).

• Engage in simple conversations with the instructor and other students.
