We will learn how to apply advanced Excel formulas and functions like professionals in this advanced Excel formulas course. There are 5 sections in the course. The first section, Financial Functions, discusses formulas such as Future Value, Present Value, IMPT, which returns the interest payment for an investment for a specific period, IRR, MIRR, and XNPV, which calculates the Net Present Value of a schedule of cashflows. GETPIVOTDATA (returns visible data from a pivot table), SORT (ascending order), FILTER (filters data range based on set criteria), and TRANSPOSE are the topics covered in the second section, Lookup and Reference Functions (returns the transpose of an array). The function SUMX2PY2 returns the squared sum of the matching values in two arrays. The function SUMXMY2 returns the squared difference between the matching values in two arrays. The first portion will now discuss the logical section. There will be discussion of the following formulas: IF (Use this function to return one value if a condition is true and another value if its false), IFS (checks whether one or more conditions are met and returns a value that corresponds to the first True condition).
