What is the Accelerator?
The Fashion Brand Accelerator Mentoring Programme is designed to speed up the success and growth of startup and early stage fashion businesses. It is a customised and personalised programme of coaching by consultants, designed to meet your exact startup needs. The 10 months of mentoring is an investment in yourself and your business, which will save you making expensive mistakes in the future. It also provides an opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs.
How does it work?
The Fashion Brand Accelerator Mentoring Programme is a customised coaching experience, focusing on what is right for your business but likely to include defining: brand strategy, product offering, manufacturing options, sales and marketing in order to deliver long term growth and minimise expenditure. The programme also provides you with a network of industry contacts to nurture. As part of the course you will be invited to London College of Fashion networks and talks that are relevant to start-ups.
Who is the Accelerator open to?
The Accelerator is designed for those looking to start up a new fashion business or for those eager to take their existing business to the next level with the ongoing personalised support of industry experts. The programme fee is per company (maximum of two people per company).
How long is the Accelerator programme?
The programme takes place over a 10 month period and includes ongoing tasks set by the experts targeted specifically at each company and fortnightly online mentoring sessions. You can start the programme at any time that suits you but ideally you would start the programme with our three week course ‘Starting Your own fashion Label Summer School’ in London, so you can meet fellow entrepreneurs and get a good grounding in fashion business. The dates of the mentoring will be discussed with you and planned on an individual basis. We would recommend one every two weeks, so 20 one hour sessions in total, over the 10 months.
