Network Administration Specialist Diploma

Course details

Brighton College is a Microsoft IT Academy (ITA) Member. The goal of this program is to train students to an exceptionally high standard in network planning, implementation, administration and support. Through this program students also achieve requisite skills in computer maintenance and management. This diploma is based on industry certification requirements as determined by Microsoft, CompTIA, and Cisco. The course maps directly to the certification pathways for recognized designations such as:

• CompTIA A+ Essentials
• CompTIA Network +
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• CompTIA Security +
• CompTIA Linux +
• MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) 

Certification Title: MCSA Windows Server 2012 

Required Exams: MCS410, MCS411, MCS412

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Server Infrastructure) 

Certification Title: MCSE Server Infrastructure Windows Server 2012 

Required Exams: MCS410, MCS411, MCS412, MCS413, MCS414

Test Centre | Brighton College Authorized Testing Centre: Pearson VUE

The certification for these designations is administered through outside agencies. There are additional costs for each exam, payable to the Authorized Testing Center. Completion of those outside examinations is not required for college program graduation.

This diploma program is instructor-driven, allowing students to navigate quickly through theory and networking software. The curriculum includes experiential lectures and workshops facilitated by specialized industry experts - instructors have relevant designations and are Microsoft Certified Trainer's (MCT's) with work experience in the industry. The program also includes practicum at various businesses. The successful completion of all courses (including 5 weeks of practicum) is required for program graduation.
