Combining disciplined design with expression and rhythmic form, Mosaics have scarcely changed over the centuries. Floors, walls, and furnishings in patterns of stone, glass, and marble have the same appealing beauty and practicality for us today as they did for the ancient people of Greece, Rome, and the Byzantine Empire.
In our classes, you will learn the ancient and original Mosaic in a modern and simple approach using different techniques. Enter the era of Byzantine times, gathering the colorful stones of mosaics. Cutting of the traditional stones, the use of modern broken porcelain pieces, and other types of mosaics placing them in your creative and special design will inspire very unique, colorful, and interesting pieces, such as mirrors, table tops, and many more projects.
