The course covers design techniques and simple ways to monitor the status of locked and unlocked worksheet cells. How-to Excel expert David H. Ringstrom, CPA, will demonstrate the numerous techniques he uses to improve the integrity of spreadsheets that he builds for himself and others.

• Use a simple design technique that greatly improves the integrity of Excel's SUM function.
• Use the TEXT function to create report titles that update themselves.
• Compare and contrast IFNA, IFERROR, and ISERROR, and see which versions of Excel support each of these worksheet functions.
• Discover techniques that automatically provide fall-back positions in the event that you need to see an earlier version of your spreadsheet.
