This Microsoft Excel 2016 Beginner Level Course by Hudson is aimed at anyone considering using Excel 2016 for the first time or those just wanting to refresh or upgrade their current Excel skills.


At the beginning, this course covers simple topics such as:


  • What can Excel 2016 do for you?
  • Understanding common terms used in Excel and the world of spreadsheets
  • Finding your way around Excel
  • Saving and printing your work
  • Understanding formulas and why people create them; and
  • What's new in Excel 2016

 

The course then progresses onto more complex subjects such as performing basic calculations and using cell references, understanding how to use Autofill and Flash Fill options, analyzing and editing data, understanding data visualization, working with paste special commands, getting to grips with the view options, and building sparklines, plus much more. The course is presented in logical order starting from the bare basics.


Animations are used during the introductory stages to bring the course to life and help the learner to better absorb information. Lessons are taught with the add of video capture software. You can see exactly what parts of Excel 2016 the tutor is referring to when delivering the lesson, whether it be a spreadsheet or save menu.
