IIL is an APMG Accredited Training Organization (ATO) for Managing Benefits.
Prerequisites:
- Successful completion of the APMG Managing Benefits Foundation exam with a pass rate of 50% or higher
- 3-4 hours of pre-course study
- Approximately 2 hours of study on the first evening
Description: Managing Benefits provides generally applicable guidance encompassing benefits management principles, practices, and techniques.
The purpose of the Practitioner level qualification is to confirm whether you have achieved sufficient understanding of how to apply and tailor the Managing Benefits guidance and, specifically, the principles, practices, techniques, roles and documentation in a scenario situation.
A Practitioner candidate should, with suitable support, be able to plan, implement, sustain, and measure benefits management while adapting to different organizational environments. You should also be able to:
- Identify activities that should be undertaken during each of the practices of the Benefits Management Cycle, together with the accountabilities and responsibilities of each of the defined roles
- Evaluate examples of benefits management information (documents)
- Analyse the solutions adopted in relation to a given scenario

This accredited course is designed to give you an in-depth understanding of the Managing Benefits philosophy and guidance, and prepare you for the Managing Benefits Practitioner exam. The course is recommended for managers who are responsible for ensuring the best use of funds by maximizing the benefits realized from change initiatives within their organisations.

- 8 questions per paper with 10 marks available per question - all question items will be worth 1 mark, making the total number of marks available, per paper, 80
- 40 marks required (out of 80 available) to pass - 50%
