Our Low Level Rating gives you the skills and rating type you need for mustering, agricultural flying, and other low level operations including aerial photography and surveillance.
The Low Level Rating is suitable for pilots who hold a current CASA PPL(H). Students undertaking a Commercial Pilot Licence (Helicopter) at Airways Aviation will usually gain this rating type as part of their training.
Theory Training
Low Level theory covers the following:
- flight profiles and dangers
- powerline appreciation
- emergencies
Training aircraft
- Robinson R22
- Robinson R44
- Bell 206
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students wishing to enrol in the Airways Aviation Low Level Rating should hold a least a current CASA PPL (Helicopter).
