Course details

The Level 3 First Aid at Work course is a comprehensive, competency-based training designed to meet workplace safety requirements and prepare participants to manage medical and trauma emergencies confidently and effectively. Delivered by AHA-certified instructors at The QuickFix Learning Hub, the program blends theory, demonstrations, and hands-on practical scenarios.

Course Modules:

• -Introduction to Workplace First Aid – Understanding legal responsibilities and the role of the first aider.
• -Scene Safety and Primary Assessment – Managing incidents safely and assessing casualties.
• -Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – Adult, child, and infant resuscitation techniques.
• -Automated External Defibrillator (AED) – Safe operation and maintenance procedures.
• -Airway and Breathing Emergencies – Managing choking, asthma, and breathing difficulties.
• -Major Injuries and Bleeding Control – Treating wounds, burns, fractures, and shock.
• -Medical Emergencies in the Workplace – Responding to heart attacks, strokes, seizures, diabetic and allergic reactions.
• -Incident Reporting & Record Keeping – Documentation, communication, and post-incident review.
• -Practical Assessment – Scenario-based evaluations to test real-life response readiness.
