    My name is Emma E Knapp and I am your instructor in this course. I am the child of a professional counselor and an Honors Graduate in Science of Psychology and Founder of the Get Happy Group a specialized face to face positive psychology group that provides group and individual sessions and workshops to help clients remove worry, stress and fear from their lives so they can get happy!

    So Why Am I Teaching This Course? Well throughout my teenage and early adult years I was plagued by negative emotions and then chronic pain in my arms and abdomen. Despite going to doctors and being prescribed various medications and treatment from chiropractors and physiotherapists, I was still in constant pain both emotionally and physically. I got sick and tired of being in pain and decided that it was up to me to discover a new strategy for reducing and even removing the negativity and pain from my life.

    Using my professional training and reading a myriad of sources on positive psychology, enlightenment and consciousness, I discovered that by acknowledging and controlling emotion you CAN heal your mind and body. And it has worked!

    Emotional Freedom Technique is an effective yet simple strategy for overcoming negative emotions and physical aches and pains (physical pain is often linked to negative emotions). It's tried and tested on me!
