This subject covers the common law and statutory principles governing the torts of negligence, trespass to persons, land and goods, defamation and nuisance and the respective defences and remedies provided under the law.
Objectives
The aims of this subject are to provide students with the basic understanding of the substantives principles of the Law of Torts including a study of the various defences and remedies.
