Course details

This course is often called Laser 101.  It is an introductory course for laser cutting.  It starts with the basics of how a laser resonator works and goes though discussions on delivering the beam to the workpiece and how the beam actually cuts.  

The course contains over two hours of narrated PowerPoint presentations that include videos and comparisons of cutting technologies.  The main takeaway is what is right for you, Fiber or CO2 for cutting?  If you are considering buying your first laser cutting system this is a must.  If you are going to be operating a laser cutting system and want to understand more about how it works this is also for you.
