This course is perfect for an inventor or anyone who wants to find out how to protect their intellectual property! Chris Hawker, the instructor of this course, is the CEO of Trident Design LLC, a company specializing in designing products and bringing them to market through licensing or manufacturing. Chris's name is on dozens of patents and he has a lot of hands on experience with the patenting process. Learn from his experience - and mistakes - to make the best patenting decisions possible with your invention. This course includes two lectures by Katie Carlson, who heads up the patent and market research at Trident Design. She walks students through how to do their own patent and market searches before hiring a specialist. This 7 part class will take just over an hour to complete.
