NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) & the new WTO (World Trade Organization) agreements are revolutionizing international trade and creating millions of new business opportunities. Responsive to standards and demands of industry for training in this field, Brighton College has become a platinum accredited partner with FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) to deliver our program.

The structure of the program will consist of an industry certification that is recognized worldwide. This certification is from the completion of the 8 course modules required by FITT for the Forum for International Trade Training Diploma and the initial, educational requirements for the Certified International Trade Professional designation (C.I.T.P.). The students also acquire situational-specific skills and identify areas that may need to be developed further. Students receive feedback and evaluation of their performance and gain valuable contacts in this diverse field. The successful completion of all selected courses is required for program graduation.

Graduates will also be qualified to work in the areas of international research, international marketing, international buying, international banking, international sales, international contract management, freight forwarding and brokerage management. This program would also be an asset for those students applying for positions as customs agents, consulate officers and government trade officers.
