Learn how to take great photos of People, Action and Night Scenes from Professional Photographer Karen Lucas.

During this hands-on, practical course you'll learn how to photograph a range of subjects in daylight and at night using Aperture Priority (AV/A), Shutter Speed Priority ( TV/S) and Manual (M) Modes as you control Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO to create a variety of different effects.

Become a more creative and confident photographer as you learn how to compose scenes and pose subjects artistically, create depth and layering in your photos, freeze and blur movement, control flash, improve your night photos and trouble-shoot problems with exposure. Plus, you'll learn how to shoot and edit your photos in RAW to fix and enhance your photos, and so much more.

Lessons comprise both theory and practical exercises in the Studio and Outdoors. Lessons 3 and 4 take place entirely on location.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Completion of Beginners Photography Course or ;
GEAR REQUIRED:  DSLR Camera or any Digital Camera with Av/A (Aperture Priority), Tv/S (Shutter Speed Priority) and M (Manual) exposure modes. All brands ;
MAXIMUM CLASS SIZE:  10 Participants
BAOBAB STUDY FORMAT:  Classes comprise theory + practical exercises and include comprehensive handouts.  First 2 classes take place in the studio.  Last 2 classes take place on location.

Suitable for those who’ve completed our Beginners Digital Photography Workshop (or similar) and are familiar with changing basic camera settings like White Balance, Exposure Compensation and ISO.
