It is not uncommon for family, employers, insurance companies, and even law enforcement not to agree with a cause and manner ruling of a decedent. It is imperative that Medical Examiner/Coroner Investigators as-well-as police, understand that their investigation will likely go under extreme scrutiny where manner of death is concerned. This course is designed to walk the student through understanding cause and manner of death as well as the three categories used in time of death determination.
