Course details

You will learn the basics of HTML forms, including the following:

• formtag
• 2 ways to send data back using method attribute: GET and POST
• Text input
• Radio buttons
• Checkboxes
• Select lists
• Text area for free form text
• Submit input
• Reset input
• Buttons - submit and image
• File upload field
• Boostrap for form element styling and layout

We have coding exercises that test your ability to create the forms including all basic input elements.

We will not cover HTML5 form elements in this class, but will have a second course covering this topic.
