    Course details

A secret martial art of Korea made available to the public for the first time!

"Hopae" was an identification card that men over the age of 16 had during the Chosun Dynasty in Korea. Nobles used "Hopae" made of ivory while ordinary people used wooden "Hopae." Sometimes, Hopae was used as a martial arts weapon in emergency situation. Later, it was systematically developed as martial arts using "Hopae." It is called "Hopaesool." However, since its power so great it was not open to the public. But as times have changed, I hope that Hopaesool can be widely used as a self-defense technique for the average person to protect him- herself from dangerous situations.
