For school leavers, or those with no formal accountancy trainings, starting out in a career in accountancy the ACCA offer their “Foundation Level” qualification, Foundations in Accountancy.
With two certificates and a diploma available (Introductory and Intermediate Certificates and the Diploma), this qualification is a highly regarded and recognised introductory qualification for anyone seeking a career in accountancy and finance.
The Diploma is a natural entry route into further accountancy qualifications such as the ACCA Advanced Diploma and full ACCA qualification. Unlike the ACCA qualification there is no minimum entry requirement for the FIA, and on completion students are entitled to progress onto the ACCA qualification with exemption from the first three exams (F1, F2 and F3).
