Course details
First is the immediate initial care administered to an injured person by the first responders until professional medical care is availed, it aims at preventing the worsening of the condition, promoting recovery and preserving life.Work related injuries are not new and the care given may be the determining factor in the survival of the victim, it is therefore of utmost important that the first responders in such a scene are adequately versed on first aid skills.
This course prepares workers to handle work related injuries using the available resources, caring for the injured without comprising own safety.

Institution, factories and school workers
Anyone one who wish to be the designated first aider at work
Individuals working in high risk environment like divers, drivers etc
Anyone who would like to obtain first aid skills for use at home or when need arises
Course objectives
After the completion of the course, the participants will be able to;
Appreciate the importance of first aid in preventing the worsening of the condition, promoting recovery and preserving life.
Understand the content of a basic first aid kit
Familiarize on the use of various first aid tools
Administer first aid in case of emergency situations
Know the limits of basic first aid
