The Financial Advice Programme level II (FAP level II) is a sequel to Financial Advice Programme level I (FAP level I) which was developed as a new qualification by BIBF in collaboration with the CBB to offer advanced level training to financial advisers and aspirants, based on the requirements set out in the CBB Rulebook. FAP level II is for professionals who have completed FAP level I and have a minimum of three years’ experience in the financial services sector. FAP level II is a mandatory qualification endorsed by the CBB.
Part I covers macroeconomics, valuation techniques, risk and portfolio allocation while Part II covers insurance products, estate planning, taxation, regulations in Bahrain regarding investment advice, ethics for financial advisers, etc. The course manual is substantiated with relevant examples and case studies to help the participants. FAP level II is a blend of different topics including Bahrain’s financial sector, organisation requirements and local regulations.

Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university
- Successful completion of BIBF Course 100 Elements of Banking or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in English Language
