Eligibility Criteria:
- Any graduate can apply.
- Students pursuing graduation can take the exam before graduating, provided they have completed graduation by the time they apply for CMA membership.
Examination Details:
Part 1: Financial Reporting, Planning, Performance, and Control
- 4-hour exam with 100 multiple-choice questions and two 30-minute essay questions.
Testing Windows:
- Exams are held three times a year: Jan–Feb, May–June, and Sep–Oct.
- You can only take an exam part once per testing window.
Exam Results:
- Results will be emailed and posted to your online profile approximately six weeks after your exam.
- A scaled score between 0 and 500 is given, with a passing score of 360.
Performance Report:
A performance report is emailed approximately 14 days after the exam results are posted to the candidate’s profile, indicating areas of strength and improvement.
Course Duration:
- Up to 60 hours per part of the CMA course.
Exam Centers:
- Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Maintaining the CMA Certification:
- Annual CMA Fee and fulfillment of 30 CPE hours, including 2 hours of ethics training, are required to maintain the certification.
