Course details

This course is for Emergency Medicine Practitioners be they emergency medicine physicians, family physicians working in the ED, nurses, physician assistants and patients who are interested in how they will be cared for during their ED stay. This is a review of information pertaining to the practice of Emergency Medicine and thus the learner is assumed to have a base knowledge of the topic being discussed. This course will review pertinent information for each topic and present cases to illustrate the important learning points for safe and effective practice of Emergency Medicine. Each of you will be able to review the videos and text files and then partake in the associated quizzes for each topic. The second part and in my opinion, most enjoyable will be to apply your knowledge onsite at the course in an interesting location.
