Contents and Overview

This course comes in two parts: Elementary English Course for Arabic Speakers 1 & 2. The course is based mainly on a course book named ‘New Headway Plus – Elementary’.

Elementary English Course for Arabic Speakers 1 contains over 35 lectures. It is designed for Arabic speakers who wish to start learning English. The course is structured into 7 units.  Speaking, listening, reading and writing skills are all covered throughout these units.

During the lecture, the lecturer presents the new lesson using PowerPoint presentations and at the end of each lecture, there is a practice to be done by the lecturer to help you understand how to answer questions.

By the end of this course, you will be able to make simple sentences and reply to simple questions; talk about likes/dislikes, family and routines; order a meal in a restaurant/go shopping and understand and write basic text.

تتكون هذه الدورة من جزئين: دورة تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية للمبتدئين من متحدثي اللغة العربية (1) و(2). تقوم هذه الدورة في الأساس على كتاب ‘New Headway Plus – Elementary’.

تتكون دورة تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية للمبتدئين من متحدثي اللغة العربية (1) من أكثر من 35 محاضرة. هذه الدورة مصممة لكي تلائم متحدثي اللغة العربية الذين يأملون في تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية. تتألف هذه الدورة من سبع وحدات. ولقد تم مراعاة دمج مهارات التحدث والاستماع والقراءة والكتابة في هذه الوحدات.

أثناء المحاضرة، يقوم المحاضر بعرض الدرس الجديد مستخدماً عروض البوربوينت وفي نهاية كل درس يقوم بحل تدريب على الدرس لمساعدة الطلاب على تطبيق ما تعلموه من الدرس.

في ختام هذه الدورة، ستكون قادر على كتابة جمل بسيطة، والرد على بعض الأسئلة البسيطة، والتعبير عن الأشياء التي تحبها والتي لا تحبها، والحديث عن العائلة والأعمال اليومية، وطلب وجبة داخل مطعم، والتسوق، وفهم وكتابة نصوص بسيطة.
