Course details

Calligraphy is the art of Arabic handwriting. This program is designed to improve the student's handwriting on two major fonts: Naskh (print) and Riqa'ah (cursive) in addition to training him/her on seeing the beauty in the Arabic handwriting. This program also covers the history and start of the Arabic handwritings including the differences between their kinds old and new.

Requirements:

Students should have completed up to level 2 of our ClassicalFoss-ha program; or passed the placement exam for this program.

We_They for the Arabic Language was founded in Cairo in 1995, and affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Education with the sole purpose of teaching Classical Arabic to non-Arabic speakers .

Our Goals

Our goals are to train non-Arabic speakers to become proficient in speaking, writing, and reading the Arabic language.

Thus, enabling them to obtain entry into Arabic Universities, to teach Arabic as a second language, to obtain employment in translation services and to obtain employment in Arab countries.
