Course details
How many of us have at least one or two bookshelves packed with DVDs and CDs we've collected over the years?
I've got at least 3!
Think of all of that storage space being completely wasted by movies, tv shows and music we never watch or listen to. With the age of smartphones, tablets and MP3 players upon us, there's no real need to watch DVDs or listen to CDs anymore. We can just stream whatever we want right?
It's time to reclaim all of that wasted storage space by backing up your media collection to your computer and donating/selling the physical packaging.
In this course you're going to learn the extremely simple way to backup your DVDs and CDs to your Windows PC, not only for longevity but to also make them available to stream to any device in your house using the Plex Media Server application.
I currently use this method to stream TV shows, movies and music to our many smartphones, two Chromecasts/TVs, three tablets and three laptops. I've even got this all set up at my parents house!
It's really not as daunting as it sounds. You'll be able to follow along and implement this solution no matter what level you're at.
If you have any questions, the Udemy discussion board for the course is always open and actively monitored by me!
