    Course details

With the increasing demand for inspirational, social spaces to work and live, an organic cloud of connectivity is forming and allowing residential, corporate, retail and hospitality design to gradually merge. This seminar based course will focus on the meaning of a circular design process, exploring new ways of interacting between spaces and users to challenge and push new design innovation. You will learn how flexible spaces can be created to stimulate collaborative relationships, networking and creativity. In particular you will look at practical case studies that focus on the hospitality sector but extend and integrate with public spaces to include event planning, flexible lobbies for work and relaxation and co-working spaces. You will also learn how hospitality services are being utilised and adapted within residential design. A dynamic course, providing you with invaluable, up-to-date design concepts that will challenge you to think both critically and outside the box in relation to the future of design.

Practicing or aspiring interior designers, architects or event planners keen to learn about the current trends in social design for commercial spaces. This course could lead to further studies in hotel or commercial design. Updated on 07 December, 2017
