Course details

Students taking this certificate will be trained to use 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings, and management tools commonly used in engineering design. Drawing skills for employment in the engineering, architecture architectural and construction industries will be emphasized. Students will gain good knowledge of by using AutoCAD, and Revit Architecture. Students will also learn local building code standards, City Bylaws, and construction estimating techniques. All of these technical skills are used in a vital part of engineering, architecture and public works.

This 15-week certificate program is fully instructor-led, allowing students to navigate quickly through engineering and design theory and AutoCAD software. The curriculum includes experiential lectures and workshops facilitated by specialized industry experts. All instructors have relevant designations and at least 5 years experience in the industry. The successful completion of 5 courses is required for program graduation.
