Communications I: Planning Communications Management

Course details

Observe how effective communications works as an enabler permitting a project manager to clearly articulate assumptions, objectives, goals and requirements; all of which are rudimentary components or deliverables of projects. You will learn how communications also contribute to efficiencies in project delivery. You will go through discussion on managing communications processes, while ensuring that project activities are conveyed in the correct manner to all project participants. Specifically, you'll concentrate on effective listening, "what if scenarios, as well as techniques such as negotiation and persuasion at times throughout the project lifecycle.
