Airways Aviation offers class and type rating training for helicopter pilots wishing to fly specific helicopter types and increase their employment opportunities. In Australia you will need a rating endorsement to fly the following helicopters:
- multi-crew helicopters
- multi-engine helicopters
- specified single-pilot helicopters that have performance, complexity or handling characteristics that warrant pilots completing a type-specific training course
We offer class rating training for:
- Robinson R22, R44 and R66
- Bell B206, B47, B407
- Hughes MD500
We offer type rating training for:
- Eurocopter EC135, AS355
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students wishing to enrol in Airways Aviation Class or Type Rating Training should hold a least a current CASA PPL (Helicopter).
