Course details

Hello Prospective students and employees.

This course reflects the Switch course that I teach at the City University of Seattle for a number of reasons. I want to focus on Lans, Vlans, Cisco Switch's, Ip addressing and Client PC configurations. Because these are the tasks and topics people will be doing at their first Network Engineering Position.  What I have seen from students graduating over the last few years is BGP even OSPF are great but it will be years before most people get to work on these Routing Protocols.  Master the topics and tasks in this course to move up at work to a position of greater trust, challenge and reward.

****NOTE***

I pulled material that I have developed for the CityU Switch course that I have taught over 10 semesters in the last few years.  However the course is brand new to Udemy.  I am still making some small additions updates and changes over the next few days to make this course the best it can be for Udemy and for the students current or future employeement, thank you for your patience.

****NOTE***

Thank You,

Andrew

This course is taught by a real University Professor that prepares his lectures and labs daily. This class room environment forces a Professor to really know his stuff, he must prepare for any question on the spot. Additionally a University Professor in the classroom, knows what kind of questions students ask, and can prepare his lectures and labs to address the points students have difficulty with. If you have been stuck on this material before this will get you over the Difficult spots and on your way to becoming and Cisco Switching expert. If this is your first intro to this material this is the place to start.
