Our international LCCI qualifications in Business Statistics help learners to develop knowledge and understanding of statistical techniques, methods and concepts which can be applied to analyses data and solve business problems. They're suitable for those working or preparing to work in business and research areas such as forecasting, data collection and analysis or finance and accountancy, where they will be sourcing and analyzing business-related data.
 
 
Course Objectives
The aims of this syllabus are to enable candidates to develop:

• Upon completion of Business Statistics Level 3 course, candidates will be able to apply statistical techniques to business data in order to plan and control business operations, evaluate and manage risks and support the decision-making process.
• Candidates will also gain an understanding of the basic concepts of statistical problem solving in business situations; develop knowledge, understanding and skills of statistical methods and concepts and in probability, including an awareness of the potential and limitations of data and methods.
• Candidates will develop a critical perspective on statistics, including recognition of collection errors, misleading forms of presentation, improper analysis and invalid inferences and conclusions.
• It will give candidates an appreciation and understanding of data analysis, including its limitations, in a business and finance environment.
