Eligibility / Requirements
To be eligible for the PMI-PBA® credential, candidate must meet professional and academic criteria established by The Project Management Institute. Depending on your level of education, you must meet the following requirements:
If you have a bachelor’s degree (four-year degree or the global equivalent):
- 36 months of BA experience earned in the last 8 years
- 35 contact hours earned in business analysis practices
- 60 months of BA experience in the last 8 years
- 35 contact hours earned in business analysis practices
- 24 months of unique, non-overlapping professional business analysis experience
- 35 contact hours of formal education
