    The aims of this qualification are to enable candidates to develop:

    Course Objectives
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the different types of business organizations, how their objectives differ and their functional areas and reporting ;
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the roles of centralized support services, how they may be organized in different types of organizations and the benefits they provide to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the skills and qualities required to work in different administrative roles and how to manage their personal performance and work effectively in a ;
     
     
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the different methods of written and verbal communication in business organizations and the use and benefits of ICT in business communications.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the features of meetings, the different types of meetings and the information and procedures used in organizing meetings.
    • Produce written business communications for given situations in a professional manner
    • Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of, and procedures and standards involved in operating reception and mail services.
