- Duration: 18 months
The programme is designed for qualified nurses to develop their knowledge to degree level. Students will gain skills to evaluate contemporary research evidence applicable to clinical practice. They will be able to establish skills and knowledge to develop autonomy, leadership and creativity. The programme offers opportunity to enhance communication skills enabling interaction with people from diverse cultures, organizations and disciplines and provides students with the opportunity to influence and make an impact on practice and the professional role of nursing. Successful completion of the BSc Nursing Studies (International) will allow nurses to continue on to the MSc Nursing Studies (International) or the MSc Health Management (International).

Who is this course for?
Qualified nurses who wish to gain a degree qualification in nursing.
How will I benefit from taking this course?
Opportunity to continue studies and take the MSc Nursing Studies (International) or MSc International Health Management, which leads to opportunities to take senior and leadership roles in nursing.
- A nursing qualification recognised in the country that you are currently practicing nursing that meets stage 1 learning outcomes.
- A minimum of two years post qualification experience and currently working in nursing.
- If English is not your first language you need the equivalent of an overall band score of at least 6.5 in IELTS, with a score of at least 5.5 in each of the four sub-tests (or an equivalent). This may be waived if your nursing qualification equivalent was taught and assessed in English and English is spoken in your working environment.
