Course details
The Bord Bia meat Quality Assurance Standards have been consolidated into a single standard MPQAS. The new standard MPQAS Revision 01 contains many updates to requirements and also new requirements for some meat processors. This training provides a review of the updates affecting meat processors. The course will provide an authoritative interpretation of the update requirements.
Who Should Attend?
Any meat processing staff with responsibility for implementing or maintaining the MPQAS standard.
Content
The course tutor will spend a full day going through all of the update requirements. Ample opportunity is given for questions & discussion. The tutor will indicate particular areas in the new standard giving rise to difficulties and common non-compliances arising.
Tutor
The tutor is Dr. Gerard Barry who has many years’ experience of auditing companies and who conducts meat processor audits on behalf of Bord Bia.
