The course is intended for students to gain basic knowledge and skills that are involved in the diagnostic process and treatment planning through history taking, physical examination, biopsy procedures and delivery of care to patients. During the course, they will be introduced to the various aspects of orofacial pain, and be able to differentiate non-dental from dental orofacial pain disorders in order to appropnatcly treat or refer. They also will be able to gain and demonstrate proficiency in ail aspects of diagnostic imaging at a postgraduate level including Digital Imaging and Cone Beam radiography (CBCT).
