Udemy Adobe Lightroom Editing and Workflow for Photographers Udemy
Price: USD 25

    Course details

When I post a photo online, I often get asked about my post production process. I am a big fan of using Adobe's Lightroom software to edit my photos because it is fast to get in and out of. Regardless of the camera, Lightroom is part of my workflow.

This course will continuously grow. Whether I am shooting a wedding, a conference, a NASCAR race, or quickly capturing a photo of my kids, I will take one photo and create a course video on my post production process. My goal is to do this with at least 2 photos each month.

What to expect from this course:

You will learn my exact process for post processing images. This course will be unique because it will cover a wide range of photo styles. I believe that a diverse photographer is best prepared for any situation. This is why I have always stretched myself to take photos of anything I got the chance to photograph. Learning how to shoot and edit photos of a 200 MPH NASCAR at a night race translates into being more prepared for shooting in the dark at weddings.

My goal with this ongoing course is that you will join me on this journey of stretching outside of our comfort zones to try new things. This will result in us being better, more flexible photographers.

What do you need for this course?

You will need Adobe Lightroom. Though I am currently a Mac user, everything is the same for Windows users. Occasionally I may jump into Adobe Photoshop, so you may want to get access to Adobe Photoshop as well.

How long will I support this course?

This is an ongoing course. I will add video content to this course often. There are seasons of the year where I am busier, so there may be more course content during those seasons than others. I will try my best to make sure 2-3 videos are added each month.

    Why take this course?

As a Photographer, it is wise to expand your knowledge and processes. The more we learn about editing photos, the faster and more effective we can be as Photographers. Even though I am teaching this course on Lightroom, I am still learning myself. It is an ongoing process. We may reach a level of Mastery, but we can lose that if we do not continue to cultivate our process and improve on it. This course is a documentation of my post production process in Adobe Lightroom. It will evolve as new features are added to Lightroom and I figure out different ways to improve on my process. Let's learn and grow together.

What photos will I be editing?

I will be editing current photos and occasionally visiting photos from my past. The edits are grouped together into categories around specific types of photography. This way you can watch edits on photos you would be more interested in. I do recommend you watch edit videos from all categories because editing on different types of photos helps you grow and learn new techniques.
